To thoroughly implement the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council’s decisions and deployments on high-quality development, and to advance China's hydraulic pump technology to an internationally leading level, the National Standardization Administration and the National Technical Committee on Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems recently issued an official announcement. Based on extensive market research and on-site investigations and demonstrations of hydraulic-related enterprises across the country, Zhejiang Keister Hydraulic Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Keister”) has been designated as the primary drafting unit for the national standard Remanufactured Hydraulic Pumps for Hydraulic Fluid Power Components.
Keister’s predecessor was the Xianju Machinery Factory, established in 1958. As a designated hydraulic pump production enterprise of the former Ministry of Machinery and Electronics, Keister has accumulated over six decades of technical expertise and innovation. It has now developed into a National High-Tech Enterprise, a Provincial-Level Specialized, Refined, Unique, and New SME, and a Mechatronics & Hydraulics Research Base of Zhejiang University. The company has invested over 100 million RMB to introduce international high-end processing equipment, such as Mazak from Japan, and has established a digital management and control system covering the entire process from raw materials - processing - inspection. This ensures full product life-cycle traceability and effectively guarantees machining accuracy and stability. Keister has formed a professional R&D team led by doctors and professors, routinely implements the Zhejiang Craftsman Training Program, and has obtained more than 20 national invention patents. Its core technologies in vane pumps and internal gear pumps are industry-leading. The company insists on using top-grade raw materials and has implemented a Dual Inspection PLUS Intelligent Judgment System for key processes.
Under the guidance of the National Technical Committee on Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems, Keister will actively collaborate with multiple universities, research institutes, and other drafting units to conduct joint R&D efforts. This aims to enhance Keister's existing domestically advanced technical standards, production standards, and process workflows. Through continuous technical breakthroughs and the commercialization of R&D outcomes, the technical and process specification standards for hydraulic pumps led and participated in by Keister will reach international advanced levels. This will contribute to a historic leap in China’s hydraulic re-manufacturing sector from catching-up to running-alongside and even leading-the-pack.
