In order to ensure the long-term and reliable operation of the hydraulic system of the hydraulic press, the following issues must be paid attention to during the design or use:
(1) Prevent air from entering the system, and discharge the system air in time. The air entering the hydraulic system of the hydraulic press will cause noise and oil oxidation and deterioration. Measures must be taken to prevent air mixing, and the air mixed into the system should be continuously discharged.
(2) Always keep the oil clean. Impurities in the oil will cause the slide valve to jam, block the orifice or gap, make the hydraulic components unable to work normally, and cause more wear on the relative moving parts. In addition to installing filters and various devices to prevent foreign impurities from entering the system, the filters are regularly cleaned and used oil replaced. The hydraulic system of the hydraulic press should be cleaned of all hydraulic components and pipes during assembly. After trial operation, it is best to remove the components and pipes after careful cleaning, and then install them.
(3) Prevent leakage. External leakage is not allowed, internal leakage is inevitable, but its leakage cannot exceed the allowable value. If the leakage is too large, the pressure will not rise, and the hydraulic power cannot reach the expected force (or torque). Moreover, the oil leakage rate is related to the pressure level, which will make the working parts unstable. In addition, due to excessive leakage, volume loss increases and oil temperature rises. In order to avoid excessive leakage, proper gaps and proper sealing devices should be installed between related moving parts.
(4) Keep the oil temperature too high. Generally, the oil temperature of the hydraulic system of the hydraulic press is kept at 15-50℃ as appropriate. Excessive oil temperature will bring a series of undesirable consequences.
The increase in oil temperature will dilute the oil, increase leakage and reduce system efficiency. Oil works at higher temperatures and is prone to deterioration. In order to avoid excessive oil temperature, in addition to taking measures to avoid oil heating design (such as the unloading pump and the use of high-power system volume adjustment methods), it is also necessary to consider whether the fuel tank has sufficient heat dissipation capacity. If necessary, additional cooling devices can be added.
